A New Year of Fun!
So, January has been a busy month! So sorry we haven't kept in touch! So...here is a quick peek into the past few weeks.
First of all, my birthday was New Year's Eve! I turned two! Since Mommy and Daddy have been super busy with our new lives, Gam'ma and Gam'pa helped to put on a party at their house! It was all about Elmo and, of course, ME! We had a great time! Thanks to everyone who came and for all of the work to put it on!
Let's party!

The cupcakes look great, Gam'ma. But, do I have to EAT them?
This is gunna be fun!
Thanks for coming Poppy and Grandmommy! You look great in your hat!

Drew and Aunt Mel came all the way from Athens to party. Love you guys!
Drew helped me to enjoy the day. She helped me to open my gifts first.

I got some great stuff! I really love my microphone! Mommy and I have a great time playing with it at home!

My favorite part of the 'cake' was definitely the singing! 'More! More!' I requested...

Should I do it?

"Go for it!", said Drew. "I am!"

Drew really knows how to party!

Finally, I gave it a try. Not so bad...Ok, enough cake. I'm ready to play again!

Proof

The past few weeks, Graham has really been growing and changing a lot, too. I so love my baby brother!

Another night this month brought a spend the night party with Gam'ma and Gam'pa. We had a great time dancing in the living room. Man, do they have some moves!

I have a few moves of my own...

Graham and Gam'ma had a few slow dances...

Over all, we've just spent the month having fun. Here I am being silly with Mommy and Daddy after bath time. What do you think? Is this hairstyle a keeper?

To be honest, not every moment has been great. Sometimes, good times go bad. What can I say, I'm two, and I'm good at it. Mommy says time out is working, though. I'm not convinced.

Also this month, Graham has gotten to meet more of our family. Here he is meeting Great-Grandma Rodi. They fell in love on the spot.

Aunt Von really had the touch, too.
Just last weekend, we made our first road trip as a family of four to visit Mimi and Papa in Birmingham. It was too short of a trip, but we so enjoyed visiting. We got to spend time with Mimi, Papa, Dylan and Philip. Such fun!
Also, Cousin Lily and her mommy and daddy came to visit. Thanks for coming Aunt Dawn and Uncle Bill! Graham loved meeting you, and I really loved my time with Lily!
Ok, ok. Yes, he's a cute baby. Time to PLAY!
What did he say? Come on, brother. Share the love!

Graham really relaxed with Aunt Dawn.
Lily and I had such fun! She sang me all sorts of songs. So much fun!
After all of the playing, we were beat! Mimi helped us to kick back and relax.

Graham taking it all in...
One of the best parts of the weekend was playing Pop's mandolin with Papa. Maybe I'll be as talented as he is some day...

Fascinating...
But, more than anything, this month has been a truly special time in which we have all been adjusting to being a family of four. I love my baby brother more than anything. He is already my best friend.
What a great month!

December Moments
December has been such an amazing month for our family! My brother Graham arrived, and before we knew it, it was time to celebrate Christmas! Here are some picture of our journey through the month...
Tell me what you need, baby brother...

Our family made cookies with the Martins a few weeks ago. Nothing gets you in the holiday spirit like being with good friends with yummy cookies!
Graham, our baby burrito!
I was very helpful!

Uncle 'Dawi' kept me laughing...

I showed Drew how to do my puzzles. She was a little more focused on snacking on Goldfish!
Uncle David iced our first cookie...
Come on in, Drew! This is great!
Sweet baby...

Like father, like son...
Oh my!

This is messy and marvelous!

The day was great, but exhausting!
Here are a few pictures from our early Christmas with Aunt Kathlyn at Grandmommy's.
Aunt Kathlyn was extra careful while holding Graham...she'd had a bit of a cold.
Mommy and Grandmommy couldn't help but giggle at silly Aunt 'Kakin'...
Aunt Carly and Tyler were such fun to play with!

Laughing around the table with the family...
Big eyes...
The whole gang...
Mommy and I started a new tradition on Christmas Eve. We worked together all day in the kitchen to bake cookies for Santa and to make a yummy dinner for our family.
Should I do it?
Nah...I'll leave the eating part to the others.
Later that night, Aunt Amy and Uncle Jeff came for dinner. We had such a great night!

Gam'ma and Gam'pa came for dinner, too.

Later that night we got in our jammies and got ready to wait for Santa!
I love you, Graham!
Mommy and Daddy read The Night Before Christmas to everyone. Then we all settled in for a long winter's nap...
Christmas morning came before we knew it...
And guess what...Santa came!!!
He brought wonderful toys! I must have been a good boy!
I love my tunnel!
Away we go!
What's inside Gam'ma?
Isn't my baby brother great, Grandmommy?
After things quieted down, Poppy and Graham relaxed together...
The day after Christmas, the celebrations continued. Mimi, Papa and Uncles Phil and Roper came to visit. We had such a special visit...
Mimi got LOTS of lovin from Graham.
Papa found some time to cuddle, too...between play times with me, of course!
Mimi and her boys...
Uncle Roper is a natural. Phil was such fun, too!
Precious boys...

Yes, this Christmas was the most special yet. So many blessings!
But, let us not forget, there is one thing more to celebrate this month! Tomorrow, I will be 2!!!!
Mommy and Daddy can't believe it. I've grown to be such a special big boy. I bring so much joy to everyone that loves me. I'll be celebrating my big day on Saturday since New Year's Eve is such a busy day for everyone. So, stay tuned for birthday shots!
Until then, I'll leave you with my very special 'potty' shot! Here I am after my first sucess at home! Such a big boy!!!
