Last week was full of unexpected things...
First, I ended up with Croup! Yuck! Mommy and Daddy had to take me to the ER in the middle of the night last weekend. It was scary. But, the doctors took good care of me and over the next week, I got better and better. Now, I'm almost 100% again. Phew! Such a relief.
Secondly, Mommy and Daddy put our house up for sale. In 6 days, we had an offer! Now, we are officially 'Under Contract' and planning to close later in April. So, we've got some packing to do! Mommy is a little worried about getting it all done. But, I keep telling her that we'll get it done...I'll be her little helper for sure. I love to unload boxes! That will help, right?
Otherwise, we are all doing ok. I am really growing and am learning so much every day. My favorite words (besides 'Dada', 'Mama', and 'Bye-Bye') are 'Dis' (this), 'Dat' (that), 'Bah' (ball), 'Dun' (done), 'Ba-pa' (backpack), 'Joos' (juice), 'Soos' (shoes), and 'Pah' (powder). I'm also getting pretty good with my animal noises. Dogs, ducks, kitty-cats, lions and bears are all my specialties!
I've also been picking up a few habits that Mommy says are a little mischievous!
I love to touch, take and hide things that I know I'm not supposed to have. Anything electronic, especially!
I just don't know why I can't play on the computer, Mommy!
Don't you remember that cool thing I did not long ago that locked it up completely?
Found a cool place to hide Mommy's cell phone... Too bad I forgot where I'd put it before long.
Mommy, I really don't know where your phone is. Honest...
When I get a 'No', I don't always love it. Sometimes it is necessary to lay on the floor and makes sure Mommy knows exactly how displeased I am.
Today, I figured out that one good way to get some extra attention would be to 'pretend' to bump my head. That usually gets me some good lovin'.

With all of that said, Mommy still says that I am the best boy in the whole world!
