Summer Fun

This summer has been filled with fun and new adventures!

We moved to Georgia, Daddy has started his new practice, I started school a few days a week, we have a new baby on the way, and I continue to grow and change every single day! Yes, a lot has been going on, but all of it is wonderful and exciting. More than anything, Mommy, Daddy and I are just enjoying being a family and spending some much needed time together.

A few weeks ago, we had our annual Fleming family beach trip. Just like last year, we had a blast! This year was especially great because I was big enough to truly enjoy the beach and ocean. I had such a blast!!

Each morning I woke up happy and ready to hit the beach!

Alright guys...let's get busy having fun!

Daddy was my favorite playmate while we were there! I love you, Dad!

Aunt Amy and I enjoying the sun...

A little closer, Uncle Jeff...I'm thirsty!

Ok
, that's a little too close!

Sweet boy...

'
Bam-pa' and I did a lot of playing, too.

So much to see and explore...

Lookin
' up to my 'Bam-pa'...

It was tough to keep me out of the water!

Sometimes, I didn't take it so well when it was time for a break from the 'wa-wa'...

Mommy's love helped to get me through it, though.

Check this out!

Ready to boogie-board, guys!

Come on
Gam'ma! It feels great, I promise!

I was born to be a beach-bum!

Bye-Bye Bama

Well, we never thought it would, but the time has finally come for us to say 'bye-bye' to Alabama.

The past three years, from what Mommy and Daddy tell me, have gone by so quickly and have been full of so many wonderful memories and blessings. Alabama truly has been a 'sweet home' for us, and it will be missed very much.

Though it is sad to leave the place I was born, what really tugs at our heart strings is leaving all of our dear friends and our family. But, we've agreed not to say goodbye. We'll say, 'See you soon' instead.

Before we left, we had a play date with my dear friend Ava. Ava is only a few months younger than I am. In fact, we were buddies in the belly! She was my first friend and play date. I love you and will miss you, Ava!

Ava loves her Sawyer-man!

Sweet kisses for my girl...

Such a gentleman. Such a little lady.

We'll be friends forever, Ava. Don't worry.

I also made a special point to spend some quality time with Mimi and Papa before we had to go. Mommy and Daddy can't thank you guys enough for taking such good care of us over the past few months. Living with you was such fun, and truly a gift. We love you.

Family fun. Uncle Bubba (Phil), I miss you already!

Center of attention...just the way I like it!

Noonie with Mimi in the truck! Ah, good times.

Special moments, captured in time.

My Papa...
My Mimi...

We love you all more than you know.
Though you may be miles away, you are with us in our hearts always.

Come visit soon!

Exciting News!

Guess what!

Mommy, Daddy and I are so excited to share that I am going to be a big brother! Yes, in December, just before MY 2nd birthday, I will be getting a new baby brother or sister. We are so excited!

Mommy is about 12 1/2 weeks along, and doing great. We've been to the doctor several times already, and so far, so good!

As some of you know, the road to this point has been challenging at times, but our family couldn't be more excited to welcome Baby Fleming #2.
We feel incredibly blessed and are enjoying every wonderful moment of this gift.

My new baby brother or sister at 12 weeks 3 days..

It's Been Too Long

So, Mommy wants to say that she is so sorry that it's been so long since we've been in touch! So much has been going on!

At the end of April, we closed on and moved out of our house. Though we were sad to say goodbye to our home of the past 3 years, we were excited to be taking the first step toward our new lives.

The whole next week was a blur! Daddy headed to Orlando for a conference, and Mommy and I spent the whole week in Georgia.

Though we missed Daddy very much, we had such fun visiting with
Gam'ma, Gam'pa, Grandmommy, Poppy, Aunt Carly, Aunt Mel, Uncle David, my girl Drew, Aunt Melanie and Little Hanna, Aunt April and everyone else that we got to see and play with! It really gave us a taste of what fun it will be to be back in Georgia again.

Here are a few pictures from Mallory's 2
nd birthday party. Thanks for having us Mallory!

Uncle David really made my day and played with me the whole time!

Go, Mallory! Go!

We got to see my dear friends the Baxter girls. Ella, you are such a big girl now! We are
gunna have such fun playing soon. Peyton, you are such a sweet little one! Look at those eyes...

Baaaa
! (Translation: Ball!!!)

This is awesome!

Check out my sweet ride...

This was the best birthday party ever!

Uncle David and I taking on the monster slide for the first time...

Going solo....Pay close attention; this was a fast ride!

Once the week ended, we headed back to Birmingham.

Daddy has to
finish up his residency for the next few months. What can we say, home just isn't home with out Daddy. Soooo, we are staying with Mimi and Papa for the next little while!

Talk about a party every day! I am getting so much attention from everyone; it is great! Uncle Phil lets me pet the bird and doggies and Dylan is the best big boy play mate ever! I love to call out for my
Dyn-dyn! He is the best!

Mimi and Papa make me laugh every day. It is really special to be able to spend this time with them before our big move. Thanks for letting us stay, guys!

Here are a few pictures from last weekend in the yard. Mimi introduced me to the hose. Let the summer water fun begin!

Everyone ran for cover at first. I was a wild man with a weapon!

Oooh
, this is cold!

Thinking up my next move...

Here Mimi. I'll fill up your watering can.

This yard work is tough.
Ahh...a little refreshment.

This is going to be a great summer!

Splish Splash and an Easter Bash!

Around here, we are so glad that spring has arrived!

This weekend was full of outdoor fun!
Friday was sort of stormy. We were pretty cooped up all day. Fortunately, after the skies cleared up, we were able to get outside for some fresh air and fun! Before Mommy knew it, I was in the rain gutter having a blast!! So much for nice clean clothes. Oh, well, nothing a little Tide can't handle...

Look, Mom! A waterfall!

Whoops...sort of slippery!

No, my pants aren't soaking wet, Mom...promise!

Can I help you?

Hold on tight! The water is really gushing now!

Did you hear that?

Raise your hand if you love to get dirty...

Oh boy...All boy!

On Saturday, we headed to Demopolis to spend time with Nana, Aunt Beth and all of the cousins. I had such a great time playing with Gray, Nate, Mary Ella and Lily.
I have the best big cousins ever!

What a big girl, Mary Ella!

Little man

Cousin Gray caught a frog!

Easter morning brought surprises. The Easter Bunny came!
Going through my Easter basket was such fun!

This duck is hilarious, Dad...

Bubbles!!!

After Easter morning fun, we met Mimi, Papa and the family at church. I stayed in the service since there is so much singing and standing up. Mommy said I was a pretty good boy (though I did get a little 'active' toward the end).

All in all, it was a very special Easter.

What a perfect time to remember what is most important...

Mommy thought I looked sweet in my Easter outfit (thanks Aunt Emilee!).
Oh, and Mommy wants to make sure that you know, it wasn't this wrinkly before church!

Cute as a button!

Happy Easter everyone! We love you!
